Recent Clinical/Programmatic Developments

  • Implemented in 2008, our new Rapid Response Team brings critical care expertise to the bedside at the first sign of a patient's decline.
  • Chester River Hospital Center established its hospitalist program in July 2008. Here, physicians coordinate the care of patients admitted for acute or intensive care from admission to discharge. Participation is voluntary; primary care physicians may admit their own patients and follow them while they are in the hospital, or they may have the hospitalist admit and treat them.
